Giving Back
At TapHere! we believe it is important to give back to the communities in which we work and live. In 2010, TapHere supported the following charitable and community service organizations:
Alternative House
Alternative House, founded in 1972, provides support to at-risk children, youth and families through counseling, shelter, crisis intervention and neighborhood outreach.
The ARC of Prince William County
The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, is committed to providing opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities to achieve their greatest potential growth and independence.
Frederick County (MD) Sheriff's Office
The Sheriff's Office is committed to the prevention of crime; the protection of life and property; the preservation of peace and order; the enforcement of laws and ordinances; the safeguarding of constitutional guarantees; and safekeeping of prisoners.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.
Miss Virginia Organization
The Miss Virginia Pageant is a scholarship pageant, and each year scholarship dollars are given to deserving young women from all over the state who participate in local pageants and the state pageant.
National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame
The mission of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame is to promote and develop the power of amateur football in developing the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, competitive zeal and the drive for academic excellence in America's young people.
Page Memorial Hospital
Page Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital committed to setting a standard of excellence for healthcare in Page County and the surrounding areas.
